ABOUT SAT
ConceptSAT (Smallest Art-fair in Town) is an art fair based in Bucharest, focused on bringing together Romanian and international galleries to celebrate and exhibit works exclusively on paper. This unique event provides a dedicated platform for galleries to showcase the diversity and creativity that can be achieved in paper-based mediums, from drawings and prints to collages and experimental formats.
SAT will be hosted at Salon de Papier by Mobius x Cartierul Creativ, a newly opened and intimate art space dedicated entirely to paper-based art. Opened in October 2024, Salon de Papier stands as the first art space in Romania, with an exclusive focus on works on paper, making it a landmark venue for this art form.
The inaugural edition of SAT took place on December 18th 2024, and invited the public to explore a curated selection of artworks on paper from national and international galleries. This accessible, immersive experience aims to highlight the paper’s versatility as an artistic medium, fostering connections between artists, galleries, and the community while expanding the audience for contemporary art in Romania.

1st edition
December 15 - 21, 2024SAT is the first contemporary art fair in Romania dedicated exclusively to works on paper. While remaining faithful to the traditional fair model as a mechanism for market development, it rejects the conventional format of booths and the segmentation of galleries, proposing instead a communal exhibition space. Thus, the eventm shift in the l marks a paradigocal art market, promoting collaboration over competition, diversity, and accessibility through a space with free entry for both galleries and the public.
The inaugural edition features seven national and international galleries: H’ART, JECZA, LAB 36, MOBIUS, SAC, SECTOR 1, and SUPRAINFINIT — all collaborating in a shared exhibition space that breaks the traditional format of art fairs.
Taking place between December 15 and 21, 2024, the first edition welcomed more than 2,500 visitors over the course of seven days.
